Scholarships

Every year, Star Blends provides up to five college scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each.

Applications for the 2023/2024 academic year will be accepted until March 31, 2023.

Eligibility Requirements:

Students meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply.

The candidate must :

•  Be a current Star Blends’ Customer or Employee 
  Or the Customers’ or Employees’:
  ​    1) Spouse 
     2) Child
     3) Grandchild 
     4) An employee of a Star Blends Customer

• Be enrolled or is enrolling at an accredited:
         a) College
         b) University
         c) Technical school
         d) Short course program

•  Have a declared educational emphasis in agriculture or an agricultural-related field.

•  Maintains a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
   

Application Requirements:

To be considered, we must receive the following materials by March 31, 2023:

• Completed, Star Blends Scholarship Application 

• Current School Transcript

• Typed Application Essay (no more than two pages)

         Your essay should describe why you would be a deserving recipient of this scholarship.               

Essays should provide evidence of your:
           1) Leadership skills
           2) Scholastic achievement
           3) Extracurricular activities
           4) Motivation 
           5) Academic and Personal Goals.

• Optional: 1-3 minute video describing yourself and your involvement in agriculture (Highly Encouraged)
